Ultramarine sea salt was one of the revolutionary new products in 1963. The salt was also used to breed the first Percula clown fish in a closed circuit system (see Coralfish). This salt is now packed in a water tight resealable container for extra freshness. It is also one of the only synthetic mixes on the aquatic market today to be totally manufactured in the UK. Other revolutionary products developed by Waterlife were the undergravel filter as it is seen today and the reverse flow filtration process. The company is now world famous and at least 25 percent of manufacturing output goes for export. The products are distributed world-wide through a network of wholesalers.
