Waterlife are pleased to announce that following a recent inspection by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), an authorisation to manufacture aquatic medications under schedule 6 of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2007/2407 has been granted. The company’s authorisation number is SAM0003. This licence ensures the continued availability of several popular aquarium and pond medications: Protozin, Sterazin, Myxazin, Octozin, Cuprazin, Paragon, Parazin, Medizin P, Sterazin P, Myxazin P, Parazin P. In some cases instructions have been modified, so Waterlife are advising customers to read all text carefully before use. Licenced packaging (supplied from the 1st November 2007) can be distinguished by the presence of the following statement in the top right hand corner of the bottle label, - This product is manufactured in accordance with the Small Animal Exemption Scheme. Manufacturing Licence number SAM0003. Unlicensed Waterlife medications that are in the shops / supply chain, may be sold until 31st April 2008.
