Liquid test kit for measuring the level of toxic nitrite in the pond.

Nitrite in the pond is caused by many factors but mainly by overstocking, overfeeding, poor or failing filtration and decaying organic matter (vegetation etc.) Nitrite is a toxin, which if present in your pond water, will enter the fishes' blood stream and cause asphyxiation and death. It is an essential test for maintaining fish health. Also, by keeping nitrite levels to zero in your pond it will help you to reduce algal growth.
